  • Lexi Williams

    Specializes in hitting

    • Speech-Language Pathologist at Albany City School District Grades K-5
    • 2009 Shenendehowa High School Graduate- 2 year varsity softball starter
    • 2013 SUNY Geneseo Graduate- Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Handicapped
    • 2015 College of St. Rose Graduate- Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology
    • 4 year collegiate starter for the SUNY Geneseo softball team- Outfielder
    • Named All-Academic team in the Spring semester of 2010 and Spring 2011
    • State University of New York Athletic Conference Commissioners Academic List: 2010-2011 and 2011-2012
    • The National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Scholar Athlete: 2010-2011
    • State University of New York Athletic Conference All-Tournament team- May 2012
  • Amanda Fifield

    Specializes in pitching and hitting

    • Amanda is currently the Varsity Softball Coach  at Ballston Spa H.S. She currently teaches K-5 math in the  Ballston Spa school district.
    • 2016 Section II Class AA Champions, Regional Champions, and State Semi-Finalists. She was Times Union Coach of the Year.
    • 2016 Albany Diocese Teacher of the Year as an Elementary teacher at St. Mary's Waterford.
    • Amanda is former Head Coach at Clinton Community College in Plattsburgh '05 - '09. Amanda served as an Assistant Coach there in '04.
    • Amanda was MVP in both her years as a pitcher for Clinton Community College.
    • Her specialty is softball pitching, hitting, catching and fielding.
    • Amanda joined the Hayner Academy Staff in 2010.

  • Mandy Ferro

    Specializes in Pitching and Hitting

    • Mandy is currently the Assistant Softball Coach at RPI.
    • Mandy is a 2013 graduate of Siena College.
    • Mandy was a 4 year starting pitcher for the Siena Softball Team.
    • After her senior season in ’13, Mandy was named to the All MAAC Softball 2nd team.
    • Mandy was a 3 year varsity softball player for Shenendehowa Central School. 
    • In 2008, Mandy was named Suburban Council MVP.
    • In 2008, Mandy was also selected to the New York State 1st Team Softball All Star Team.
    • Mandy joined the Hayner Academy Staff in September of 2015
  • Jessie Hayner

    Specializes in Hitting, pitching, and Fielding

    • Jessie is currently the Varsity Softball and Varsity Volleyball Coach at Loudonville Christian School. She will be joining LCS as a full-time member of the faculty in September 2017.
    • Jessie graduated from Houghton College in 2016 with a degree in Health and Education.
    • At Houghton, Jessie played 4 years of Varsity Softball and Volleyball and was co-captain of both programs her senior year.
    • Assistant Coach for Saratoga County Hurricanes Travel Softball Program 2015-2017
    • Jessie is a 2012 graduate of Shenendehowa H.S. where she also played both varsity softball and volleyball.
  • Dan west

    Specializes in Pitching and Hitting

    • Dan has worked as a Softball Pitching Instructor for over 20 years. Numerous clients of Dan's have gone on to have successful college careers.
    • Dan grew up in lived in Hawaii and has a long history as a competitive player there.
    • Dan's daughter Robyn was a standout pitcher at Saratoga Springs H.S. and Providence College.  
    • Dan has served as a successful coach for several area youth travel teams.
    • Dan joined the Hayner Academy Staff in 2004.
  • Norm Hayner

    Specializes in Hitting and Catching

    • Varsity Baseball Coach at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake H.S. 1995 - 2000. Led Spartans to 1998 Section II Class A title, Region IV title and runner up finish at NY State final four.
    • Former Pitching Coach at UMass/Amherst, Siena College, Skidmore College and Schenectady C.C.
    • Division I catcher and graduate of Siena College ('85).
    • Earned M.S. in Sport Management at UMass/Amherst ('92)
    • Former Player/Manager of Apex Printing in Albany Twilight League, achieving 3 consecutive league championships, 3 NYS AABC Stan Musial Division Titles, 1 AABC North Atlantic Regional Championship and 2 runner ups and a 3rd place finish at the 1989 Stan Musial World Series in Battle Creek, Michigan.
    • Member of the Shenendehowa Central School Athletic Hall of Fame and Albany Twilight League Hall of Fame
