Nobody succeeds beyond his or her wildest expectations unless he or she begins with some wild expectations.

-          Ralph Charell

“Dakota has again enjoyed your instructional program very much.  His hitting improved again this year and he has become more aggressive in the field.  Thank you!”

- Dan Rainville, Ballston Spa, NY

Your security is in your ability to perform.

-          General Douglas Macarthur

The leader finds greatness in the group, he or she helps the members find it themselves.

“The Sports Barn has helped a lot with my batting skills.  I love The Sports Barn!”

- Dylan Altobelli, Clifton Park, NY

The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses behind the lines, in the gym and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.

Increase Your Confidence, Skills and Fun!

We will aim for perfection and along the way, we will hit excellence.

-          Vince Lombardi

“Spring training at Hayner’s has once again been a great experience.  When we ended the week last year we knew we would be back again this year.  Kolbie has expressed how much fun he has had making new friends and learning more about the game.  As a parent I feel confident dropping Kolbie off knowing he is comfortable and safe at your camp.  But the most important aspect of your program for me is the approach taken with all the boys by Norm and Ken and all the other coaches.  Every child is treated equally and encouraged to do their best.  For me the morning talk is just as important as learning the skills needed to be a great player.  Thank you!

- Bonnie Speanburg, Hoosick Valley, NY

“The heights by great men reached and kept

Were not attained by sudden flight,

But they, while their companions slept,

Were toiling upward in the night.”

-          Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

“My son received for the first time real lessons in baseball.  The drills were great for him.  Also, thanks to everyone for the positive attitude discussions.”

- Donna Cuva, Clifton Park

Hunger not for success, but for excellence.

-          Mike Krzyzewski

“The April Vacation Camp should be two weeks long!”

- Shane Dwyer, Lansingburgh, NY

Overview:

Team Training Clinics are a great way to kick off you recreation and/or travel season.  Training players within a full participatory, hands-on clinic creates a powerful learning environment and provides everyone the opportunity to be on the same page from day one of your season.  Academy instructors will organize and lead all coaching instruction, establish age-appropriate progression drills for your team and assist coaches with identifying key points of emphasis in each skill area.  Clinics can be tailored to your specific needs – from specific skills such as hitting only to all-around skill areas.  A minimum of 3 coaches/adults need to be present and actively participate in each clinic.  Please call 664-4537 to discuss with owners a clinic session suitable to your needs.

Note: Clinic sessions can be designed for either baseball or softball.
