Facility Rental

Renting a pitching mound enables hurlers of all ages to get their work in year-round.
The Sports Barn/Hayner Academy is the ideal training ground for leagues looking for a tryout and/or skill development venue; teams wishing to gain an edge on the competition; and groups and individuals searching for a place to play pick up basketball, volleyball or most any type of recreational fun.

Team Training:

  • Train all areas of the game in one visit!
  • Rent a tunnel with or without a pitching machine and/or work out your pitchers and your hitters under game like situations
  • Take ground balls and/or work on team defensive and offensive situations and strategies

The Hayner Academy Directors and staff are available year-round to assist your baseball or softball organization, league, team or group with general or skill specific clinics of any type. Call 664-4537 for details.

Group Recreational Events:

  • Searching for gym space for full court basketball or volleyball with your buddies or co-workers?
  • Looking for a venue for your church group outing, baseball card show, etc?

Individual Use: (reservations accepted only on the day of use)
Includes:

  • Pitching off a mound or playing pitch and catch with or without target nets *
  • Batting practice of any type excluding the use of portable or Master pitching machines *
  • Playing basketball (adjustable height hoops)

* The Sports Barn will provide batting cage-type balls only for these types of pitching, catching or batting practice. Persons renting space must provide their own baseballs and softballs.
