    Improve your hitting skills before the upcoming high school and middle school baseball tryouts. At the end of the week you’ll have a greater understanding of proper swing mechanics, timing, practice and game routines/preparation and mental game adjustments.

  • February break Baseball Camp

    Your young baseball player will have a blast learning and playing at our popular February Break Baseball Camp. Our coaches will help your young ballplayer to develop their hitting, pitching and fielding skills in a positive atmosphere conducive to learning and fun!

    Instructors: Ken and Norm Hayner along with Hayner Academy Staff members and local high school and college coaches.

  • CPBL Rec Clinic

    This is an all-around baseball skills clinic coached by Ken and Norm Hayner exclusively for the Clifton Park Baseball League. To participate in this clinic you must be a registered player in the 2018 CPBL Rec. League

    Dates: Mondays March 5, 12, 19, 26 and April 2

    Time:6:30 - 8:00 PM

    Ages: 2018 League age 9, 10, 11 and 12

  • 2018 youth Catching program

    CP Baseball & Hayner Academy 2018 Youth Catching Program

    Program Focus: All foundational skills essential for successful baseball catcher play. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Physical skills and technique development: receiving, throwing, blocking, bunts, tag plays, pop ups and wild pitches. Elements of strength development will also be introduced.
    • Mental skills: leadership, attributes of effective catchers, poise, emotional maturity, overcoming fear, situational knowledge, pitcher/catcher and catcher/umpire relationships.

    Ages: 9-12 (must be 9 years of age by Jan. 1)

    Day: Thursdays {March 8, 15, 22, 29, April 12}

    Time: 5:30pm-6:30pm

    Location: The Sports Barn Recreation Center

    Instructor: Norm Hayner (former 4-year starting catcher, Siena College)

    Cost: $150 until Feb. 15. Beginning Feb. 16 - $175**

    Equipment: Boys must bring full catchers equipment each session.

  • Right View Pro Baseball Hitting Camp

    The RightView Pro Baseball hitting Camp is for the serious baseball player with the desire to improve his offensive game. This camp features RightVIew Pro Major League Baseball Models to demonstrate the fundamentals of the Major League Swing. The focus of the camp is:

    1. Video Swing Analysis
    2. Hitting drills that teach and reinforce proper movement patterns
    3. Classroom Sessions on multiple hitting topics including a Hitting Game Plan for Success
    4. Multiple Repetitions
